Comment from Chris Romine

I have been driving for Uber for over 5 years. I love the flexibility to work when I want and where I want. I understood the ground rules and criteria for my employment when I started and it’s my understanding that those ground rules and criteria have not changed. This is a gig economy. It has always been a gig economy. It should not be someone’s primary source of income. If it is, it should not be Uber/Lyft’s responsibility to provide benefits when we, the independent contractor know the work conditions prior to beginning employment.
