Comment from Barbara Sweeney

Hello, I’m a single mom, part time student, and full time architectural drafter and I make ends meet by driving for Uber. This is crucial for us since my child support is not always reliable. The flexibility of driving whenever I want to is crucial. I drive a couple of hours in the morning before my full time job and all day on the weekends, sometimes starting as early as three in the morning (I’m an early riser). Of course I am free to take off if my daughter needs to attend something. Uber flexibility and the income it provides will allow me to give my child an education she might not otherwise be able to pursue. She is brilliant and is looking forward to a career in engineering.

Whatever you do, please do not do anything to prevent me from working when I want to.
