Comment from Domanic Hildebrand

I work with Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash which as of the current status means I’m an independent contractor. Having the independent contractor status means I can partner with theses companies to fulfill jobs. I would like to see benefits and other perks come about working with them but I enjoy the flexibility of being my own boss rather than reporting to management.

With all that said so far, I feel that these companies should be as transparent as absolutely possible because we are essentially business partners. Hundreds of thousands of drivers, including myself, are what make these companies work. We are not employed and I honestly don’t like the idea of being employed, I work for myself and use my partnership with Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash to fulfill my work.

I work for myself and enjoy the flexibility that it gives me. I am able to go on a vacation when I want and be with my family when they need me. It gives me a level of freedom and liberty that a normal employment doesn’t provide.
