Comment from Sarah Horner

I am an Uber eats driver. I do not need benefits from Uber eats. I enjoy the flexibility because I have anxiety. My anxiety has held me back from keeping jobs. I usually quit. With Uber Eats, if my anxiety is bad, I do not have to go into Uber eats, I do not have to call in sick. I do not have to have the guilt of calling in sick because anxiety is not an issue that most companies except as a reason for calling in sick. However, I am able to still earn money When I’m ready to work. In addition, if my daughter needs to stay home from school because of an illness, I don’t have to call in sick. I can just stay home and take care of her. We don’t have any family here to watch her, and daycare will not take a sick child.
